at the beginning of the sailormoon series, usagi is the reluctant leader of the sailorsenshi. in a nutshell, usagi is an overly-emotional girl, who is obsessed with boys, and is an underachiever in school. she lives with her mother (ikuko), her father (kenji), and her brother (shingo). usagi attends school at juuban junior high (juuban high school, later in the series). she's not exactly a top-student there, often failing tests and exams.

as a senshi, usagi uses mostly healing and weirdly-named offensive attacks. she is seemingly the most powerful senshi, although that fact is debatable. leading the senshi is quite a job, and usagi tackles it nicely...

though she has her flaws, usagi is a truly sweet young woman, who is loving and caring. she loves all her friends dearly, and would do anything for them. upon first impressions, usagi seems silly, constantly bursting into tears, and acting rather foolish. but you just have to forgive her, because she has spirit, and a good heart. usagi slowly matures throughout the series, changing from a fickle-minded girl, into quite the young woman.

sailormoon's attacks and transformations

*moon prism power, make-up!* -- sailormoon's first transformation. used during the all of the first season, and half of the second season of sailormoon.
*moon crystal power, make-up!* -- sailormoon's second transformation, used in the last half of the second season. this transformation didn't change her outfit at all.
*moon cosmic power, make-up!* -- turns usagi into supersailormoon. used in the third season.
*crisis, make-up!* -- this is a fairly unnecessary transformation...but i think this is the prettiest, because usagi has butterfly wings for a moment.
*moon eternal, make-up!* -- usagi's final transformation. the backround music is just awesome, but the wings she gets make her look odd.
*moon power...ni nare!* -- used with the disguise pen, this changes sailormoon into whatever she wants. only used a few times at the beginning of the series.
*moon tiara action!* -- sailormoon's first attack. she basically throws her tiara like a frisbee, and hits the enemy. eventually, her tiara stops working.
*moon tiara stardust!* -- this attack only appeared once in the entire series. instead of sailormoon's tiara striking the enemy, it showered them with sparkly stardust.
*moon healing escalation!* -- used with the moon stick, this is a healing power, to turn youma (demons) back into humans.
*moon princess halation!* -- used with the cutie moon rod, it destroys youma. this attack takes a long time to perform.
*moon spiral heart attack!* -- used with the spiral moon heart rod, this attack destroys the enemy in a giant heart.
*double moon kick!* -- an airborne kicking attack done with sailorchibimoon. very simple.. and not too effective.
*rainbow moon heartache!* -- used with the spiral moon heart rod, this attack is very similar to "moon spiral heart attack".. except the music is changed, and a rainbow flashes over the enemy before it dies.
*moon gorgeous meditation!* -- sailormoon uses the moon kaleidoscope to execute this final attack.. it's one of my favourites.
*starlight honeymoon therapy kiss!* -- used with the moon tier, this attack is quite simple...a bright light shines upon the monster and it dies. i love it...the music is cool.
*silver moon crystal power kiss!* -- i have no idea what this attack looks like. sailorchibichibi gave it to sailormoon.
